As Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) celebrates 80 years in the skies in 2026, SAS and Sjöö Sandström enter a new partnership, appointing Sjöö Sandström as the Official Timekeeper of SAS.
Powered by a mechanical movement and water resistant to 10 ATM, Royal Steel Worldtimer is built for modern travel with performance and reliability at its core. The dial is inspired by the turbine blades of jet engines – a subtle tribute to motion, power and flight – complemented by a colour palette that reflects SAS’s iconic visual identity. For an even deeper connection to SAS and its legacy, the second hand is crafted from repurposed metal sourced from a retired transatlantic SAS aircraft. For optimal wrist comfort, it features the crown positioned at 2 o’clock.
The case back is engraved in honour of the airline’s 80-year anniversary, and the watch is presented in a limited edition of 300 pieces.
