About

Annual Edition 2026 – One of 86. A tribute to 100 years of the Swedish Air Force.

The watch is released in a strictly limited run of 86 pieces – a symbolic reference to 1986, the year Sjöö Sandström was founded. This year, the story takes to the skies, celebrating a century of Swedish aviation, engineering and precision.

The Worldtimer brings that story to the wrist. The dial and hands feature details inspired by the Swedish Air Force, while the case back carries the official emblem commemorating the Air Force's 100th anniversary.

Sjöö Sandström has been an official supplier and Official Watch of the Swedish Air Force since 2011 — a partnership that has become an important part of the brand's story, reflecting a shared focus on precision, performance and Swedish engineering.

Past Annual Edition

Annual Edition 2025

In collaboration with the renowned Swedish design studio Claesson Koivisto Rune, Annual Edition 2025 explores the meeting point between watchmaking precision and architectural clarity. The matte black dial and refined tachymeter scale play with light, shadow, and proportion - hallmarks of Claesson Koivisto Rune’s architectural approach. A subtle highlight of the number 86 pays tribute to Sjöö Sandström’s founding year and the annual tradition of producing only 86 pieces. With its clean lines and balanced proportions, Annual Edition 2025 captures the essence of Swedish design - precise, understated, and timeless.

Annual Edition 2024

With every brushstroke crafted by skilled hands, no two watches are the same, making each a truly unique collector's item. Inspired by the iconic Landsort lighthouse, the dial captures the spirit of Sweden’s rugged coastline, symbolizing strength, resilience, and guidance. Limited to just 86 pieces, this edition seamlessly blends precision engineering with artistic expression.
Annual Edition 2024 is more than just a watch, it is a tribute to nature’s enduring strength and the artistry that preserves its essence in every detail.

Annual Edition 2023

This edition builds upon the esteemed Royal Steel Worldtimer yet introduces a completely reimagined design. Drawing inspiration from the groundbreaking work of Carl Wilhelm Scheele, the 2023 Annual Edition of the Royal Steel Worldtimer proudly incorporates tungsten into its design. Scheele, a pioneering Swedish chemist of the 18th century, is credited with the discovery of tungsten oxide. In homage to his contributions, our timepiece features a tungsten bezel, symbolizing durability and resilience. Tungsten remains an integral part of our history that can be found in many of our previous models.

Annual Edition 2022
